Rockin' in Taipei

Very long time ago that I posted any action on this blog, so here is what I've been up to the last month:

- Partying in Bangkok with Bart & Adam (see Barts post)
- Exploring Taipei with the Americans and a Frenchman
- Gambling and rolling in Macau with the whole crew

More to come this month, as there is a budget China trip planned (Shenzhen and Guanzhou) this weekend, and next weekend the Hong Kong Rugby Sevens are up. Furthermore, I will visit my parents in Bali in the beginning of April.

So a lot more stories to come, but for now the Taipei story:

A few weeks ago, just when I decided to take it more easier with the partying and money spending, I got an email from a friend if I wanted to join on a trip to Taipei for the upcoming weekend. After some smart budgetting and money savings I decided to join. And I'm glad I did :). We had a great time up there... partied with midgets, saw the bruising nightlife of Taipei, been on the tallest building in the world (101 tower), and had one of the best meals (till now) since I've been in Asia! We even managed to take a museum trip to the History museum of Taipei.. which was very interesting (not really).. but anyway, we gave it a try.

A short photo-impression:

The whole crew!

They seriously had a HELLO KITTY gate at the airport!!

We finished almost 20 800ML bottles of beer with a Taiwanese drinking game our friends(also our tourguides;)) wanted to play (not to mention we played this game for only 1 hour:S)

The whole crew including our two Taiwanese friends who took us to the restaurant where I had the best dinner since I'm in Asia!

Our lovely lobster!!

Very nice lunch! Where we had to crunch our own seeds prehistorical style ;)

First party night! Arrived at 11.30pm in Taipei and went straight for the clubs!
