Music dvd's

In our new improved way of living we have loads of time to spend in the evening. So without going to the bar, that means that we'll be sitting at home. Doing sports, playing guitar (me) and watching tv (music dvd's!!) and using the notebook :).

I have one expensive bad habbit here in Hong Kong (nope, not going out :-)), which is buying dvd's. Whenever I enter a HMV store (big music shop in Hong Kong), I will walk outside with a bag containing dvd's and cd's. All the chart cd's are between 90 and 150 HKD, which is between 9 and 15 euro. So if I see a 9 euro cd which I want to have, I have to buy it :). For dvd's within HMV the same, they are between 60 and 100 HKD for a movie. Also a cheap buy.

But there is more... a couple of weeks ago, Bart and I found a cheap dvd shop in Sham Shui Po (local area of Hong Kong), the dvd's sold there were about 30 HKD (3 euro). They only had music dvd's, but as we both are music lovers that didn't matter. The dvd's look really good.. probably copy, but that doesn't bother us that much. We are dutch, so we don't mind buying cheap copy products ;). So as for now our music dvd collection already has the following artists: Gary Moore, Genesis (2), Dream Theater (4), ACDC, Pat Metheny (2), Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jamiroquai, Sting, Robbie Williams. I think the total purchase value of those dvd's is around 30 euro's :).

For the dutch:
In ons nieuwe en verbeterde rustige leven hebben we natuurlijk genoeg tijd over voor rustige dingen :). Nu we 's avonds wat rustiger aandoen hebben voortaan lekker de tijd om al onze aangeschafte muziek dvd's en films te bekijken. We inmiddels een hele verzameling opgebouwd, en dat betekend dus dat er nog genoeg te kijken is :).

We hebben een hoop dvd's gevonden in een goede dvd shop, de dvd's waren daar maar 3 euro per stuk (30HKD). Mooi voor ons dus.... dat het kopie dvd's waren vonden we overigens niet zo heel erg :). Inmiddels bestaat onze verzameling al uit: Gary Moore, Genesis (2), Dream Theater (4), ACDC, Pat Metheny (2), Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jamiroquai, Sting, Robbie Williams. De totale waarde van deze 'collectie' zal zo'n 30 euro zijn.

Jaja, mooie stad dat Hong Kong :).
